Welcome to our web site. WAMCOMM was first started out of my garage back in
1992. Since then we have moved to a truck stop just outside of town. We
were there about 7 years. Then we were told that we would have to relocate due
to renovations that were to be made at that location. So we moved about a mile
from that location. Now we are here to stay.
Our Mission
To prove that all CB Shops are not the same. We pride ourselves on being
honest with the customer. Also we try to accommodate most CB needs and repairs,
while you wait if possible. We won't sell you something you don't need. We
only carry the best quality products. We evaluate our inventory, and discontinue
all products that don't meet the quality standards that we require.
We don't
stock junk, and we won't!
Our Service Policy
At Wamcomm we don't take shortcuts. We know
the average driver needs his or her radio. So we try to get it repaired as soon
as possible. We stock most of the common parts to make that happen. Sometimes we
run across a part we may not have in stock, or just don't carry at all. When
that happens we special order the part for that repair and also a few extra
parts of that type so we can be prepared for the next time we need that
particular part, so our parts inventory keeps growing more and more.
We try to keep the repair cost of your unit as
economical as possible. If the repair exceeds at least half the value of the
unit we would contact you the customer to consult before proceeding with the
repair. If the repair cost exceeds the value of the unit than it would be
classified as a B.E.R. (beyond economical repair)
then we would contact the customer to inform he or she that their unit is beyond
economical repair, and it would be in their best interest to purchase a
replacement.
